In June 2022, PPG started a six-month project for the North-West Local Land Services for the supply and installation of 46 kilometres of fencing with a scope for biodiversity safety and stock proofing. As the successful tenderer of the project, PPG will also undertake up to 22km of fence repairs and up to 10km of fence removal with minimal disturbance to soil and vegetation. A further 140 hours of line clearing is to be completed.
The challenge with the Waratah Project is its required completion by 23 December 2022. The leead times for supply of materials by leading Australian manufacturer of fencing products, Waratah, were up to 15 weeks wait. PPG has been able to work with our supplier to ensure the materials required for the project will be delivered within four weeks of commencement so completion is done in a timely manner, on time.
