PPG is committed to providing safe worksites without risks to our people and others sharing the site. We are also committed to compliance with all applicable work health and safety legislation and our clients’ requirements.
This includes risk assessments for our projects and safe work method statements for each task undertaken by us. Our workers are provided appropriate PPE enabling them to do their job as safely as possible.

PPG works with our clients to ensure required environmental management outcomes are achieved through adequate environmental plans and procedures. This was most emphasised in our involvement on a project done recently, which had some of the strictest environmental conditions ever imposed on a mining project in Australia. It required compliance in accordance with approvals under seven different Commonwealth and Queensland Acts.
PPG holds Public Liability Insurance - $20,000,000 - and provides full disclosure of our projects to the underwriter, ensuring coverage in the event of an incident. Within this coverage is $500,000 Professional Indemnity insurance adequate for most jobs where we are provided drawings and scope of works for the project.
In addition, Yellow Cover insurance is in place for our plant and equipment.Appropriate workers compensation insurance is also in place covering our workers in NSW and Queensland.
